About the Club

Leyland Albion FC is a voluntary run, non-profit making community youth football club located in Leyland, Lancashire, with the majority of our players coming from within the South Ribble area. Founded in the 1980's, the club closely follows F.A. rules and regulations governing youth football whilst promoting the FA Respect program, fairplay and sportsmanship. We are based at Fox Lane Sports Club in Leyland.

The name 'Albion' comes from the proud history of the town relating to the manufacture of vehicles. Leyland Motors corporation took over Albion Motors in the early 1950's and the club badge was designed with the Albion logo closely in mind.

Leyland Albion in the Community

Our players and managers aren't just members of a team, they are members of our community. Throughout the year, we work with local charities and initiatives to help with funding for those charities and to also promote Leyland Albion in the local community.
