Safer Internet Day 2020

Tuesday 11th February

Leyland Albion FC is happy to support the Safer Internet Day for 2020. The aim of Safer Internet Day is to inspire a national conversation about using technology responsibly, respectfully, critically and creatively. In 2020, Safer Internet Day in the UK will encourage young people to explore how they manage their online identity, and how the internet shapes how they think of themselves and others.

Being online is integral to young people's lives, and a powerful force for good. The government has set out measures to help make the UK the safest place to be online through its Online Harms White Paper, and this came in response to growing public concern about internet safety. Below is some information on the initiative and how to get involved and also where to find more information.
